Silver Cube Campaign Highlights Desktop Virtualization and How the Pano VDS Solution is Changing the Face of Desktop Computing

Pano Logic announced the launch of a new campaign focused on the Pano zero-client. Since its launch in August 2007, Pano VDS has become known for its innovative industrial design and immediate appeal to end-users. The campaign's Web site, http://www.thesilvercube.com/, will raise awareness regarding the benefits that the Pano VDS brings to end users and IT departments by focusing on the Pano client's innovative look and feel. The site will offer a variety of information including an ROI calculator, white papers, solutions briefs and customer success stories.

Designed by Whipsaw, the Pano client is delivered to the end-user as a sleek, compact three and a half inch square box. Earlier this year, the Pano VDS client received a 'best of the best' designation from the red dot design awards, the world's largest and most prestigious design competition. The silver cube, referred to as the client, is an innovative new take on PC architecture, connecting directly to the keyboard, mouse, display, audio and USB peripherals. Additionally, the device is power-friendly, using only three percent of the energy consumed by a traditional desktop computer.

"Our focus is to provide a superior desktop virtualization solution for IT departments and end-users, but we also know that part of our success is to ensure that end users have a positive experience as well," said Benjamin Baer, VP of marketing for Pano Logic. "With the Pano Virtual Desktop Solution, we've melded form and function for a more eco-friendly, aesthetically-pleasing desktop solution that can also provide users with a host of capabilities like remote access and self-help not as readily available from the traditional desktop."
