Atlantis Secures Largest Market Share Growth in Global Storage and Hyper-Converged Solutions for VDI and SBC According to Independent Project "Virtual Reality Check" Survey

Atlantis Doubles Its Market Share From 2014 to 2015 to Lead All SDS and Hyper-Converged Vendors

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - March 27, 2015) - Atlantis Computing®, the leading provider of Software-Defined Storage, today announced PQR and Login Consultants released its 2015 "Project Virtual Reality Check (VRC)" analysis which shows Atlantis more than doubling market share from 3.8% in 2014 to 7.4% in 2015 in the "storage solutions used for VDI/SBC" -- more than twice the market share of the next largest Software-Defined Storage or hyper-converged competitors, many of whom dropped in overall market presence.

Project VRC analysis indicated that, while traditional storage infrastructure remains the largest installed base for respondent VDI and SBC environments, Software-Defined and hyper-converged storage providers including Atlantis represent the fastest growing segment of market.

The 2015 Project VRC global study included approximately 25% of its respondents from North America, 63% from Europe, and 6% from APAC. To further minimize bias, nearly 90% of respondents held technical positions in organizations that employ VDI and/or SBC implementations as a core business practice, or those reselling, partnering or integrating such technologies, rather than working for IT vendors.
